  • The ICD Bengaluru is designed to handle close to 60,000 TEUs per annum from imports and exports of industries and trade located in Bengaluru Urban District and adjoining districts of Bengaluru Rural, Ramnagaram, Mandya, Tumkur, Hassan, Mysore, Chamrajnagar, Kodagu etc
  • This ICD will cater to incoming and outgoing cargo traffic of building materials, industrial raw materials and products, agriculture produce and food products etc. Covered space of 12,500 sqm,paved yards of 7500sqm, office space for Customs , Bank, Shipping lines ,CHA’s,etc. Canteen , Dormitories,public conveniences,electronic weigh bridge,CCTV based round the clock security arrangements etc.are provided

The present practice of Karnataka based exporters sending their cargo to Chennai port for containerization for export could be handled at this complex there by creating more jobs and business opportunities locally in addition to facilitating convenient stuffing and customs clearance facilities at their doorsteps for local industries
